Question: I know my husband's cheating on me and I want a divorce, and I need good divorce lawyers. I looked at his iPhone when he got back from Thailand and I was disgusted. I saw pictures of Thai women who couldn't have been older than 22 or so. My husband is a nuclear physicist and he was supposed to be consulting on a project and when I confronted him he said that they were scientists who were experts on nuclear power. But they were barely dressed and holding beers, so I really suspect he is lying.
And I looked at the websites he searches at night and so many of them were about had the word MILF in them. I looked up what that meant and I was shocked to find that it has a dirty, perverted meaning. When I confronted him he said that it actually meant the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, which is terrorist group in the Philippines. He said he might be visiting the Philippines for business and wants to be safe. I think he may be engaging in self-love, which scares me.
I also confronted him for being on that affair website Ashley Madison. He said that someone must have stolen his identity and set up a profile. Maybe that's true, but with everything else I'm so suspicious.
I want to know if I can use any of this as evidence in a divorce. I also don't want our daughters around some porn addict, so I want to know if it will help me with custody. I need some answers soon because I can't live with this “horn dog” anymore!

Answer: Everything that you have described may be helpful evidence in a divorce case. We always advise clients to save anything they think shows adultery or even poor judgment, particularly if it can be viewed by children.
Thailand has a reputation as a country that allows the sex-trade to flourish and the whole purpose of registering with the Ashley Madison website is to engage in an affair. However, we would want to investigate and determine as much as possible what specifically happened in Thailand and if he created the Ashley Madison account.
If your daughters are exposed to pornography by your husband, that could very well impact child custody. Obviously, it is in a child's best interest to not be around that sort of thing. A judge would likely sanction him if the girls were exposed to such things.
