Question: I got a DUI in Alpharetta and I have to go to jail. I got stopped on Windward Parkway. I was pulled over for speeding and the police officer noticed I had an open container in the car. It was a bottle of gin that I had been drinking. I did everything he wanted me to do and I was arrested. I blew a .296 on the breath test. It was embarrassing because it was not my first DUI in Alpharetta and they remembered me. But at least I was not involved in a car accident, like last time.
On the night I was arrested I had some drinks at Taco Mac and I had dinner at Ippolito's. I was with friends and then when I went to my car to drive home I took a couple of shots from the gin bottle.
Since I have to spend some time in the Alpharetta jail I was writing to find out what I could bring with me. I take vitamins and drugs for high blood pressure and diabetes. So I need to know what I can take to the jail and what I can't have.
